BYD has introduced its latest Super e-Platform, featuring ultra-fast charging blade batteries, high-performance electric motors, and advanced silicon carbide power chips.
The flash-charge batteries support 1,000V charging voltage and 1,000A charging current, delivering up to 1,000 kW (1 MW) of charging power—a first in the industry. This allows a full charge in six minutes and enables 2 km of range per second when using BYD’s new 1,000-kW supercharger.

High-Performance Motor and Charging Infrastructure
BYD’s new high-revving motor, spinning at 30,511 RPM, is the fastest mass-produced motor globally. It generates 580 kW of peak power, surpassing V12 fuel engine performance.
To support this, BYD developed next-gen silicon carbide chips with voltage ratings up to 1,500V. The company also plans to construct 4,000+ supercharging stations with integrated energy storage to ensure stable 1,000-kW charging even in areas with limited power supply.

Pre-Sales Open for Han L EV and Tang L EV
BYD launched pre-sales for the Han L EV sedan and Tang L EV SUV, the first models on the Super e-Platform. The Han L EV is priced between RMB 270,000 ($37,330) and RMB 350,000, while the Tang L EV starts at RMB 280,000 to RMB 360,000.
The Han L EV accelerates 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and the Tang L EV in 3.6 seconds. Both feature BYD’s God’s Eye B smart driving system with a roof-mounted LiDAR.

Hybrid Variants and Future Expansion
BYD also opened reservations for the Han L DM and Tang L DM hybrid models, equipped with the powerful DM-p hybrid system. These hybrids achieve 0-100 km/h in 3.9 and 4.3 seconds, respectively. With its latest innovations, BYD continues to push the boundaries of EV technology, setting new industry standards.
