Chinese manufacturer BYD has officially enlivened the European electric car market with three new cars (28/9). BYD officially entered the European market with the announcement of the pre-sale prices of the Atto 3, Han EV, and Tang EV electric cars.
Interestingly, BYD also announced that the three electric cars will premiere at the Paris Motor Show 2022 in October.

As already mentioned, BYD started its journey in Europe with three cars, namely the BYD Atto 3, BYD Han EV, and BYD Tang EV.
BYD Atto 3 is prepared to fill the C segment or in the same class as the Volkswagen ID.3, Cupra Born, Nissan LEAF, and Hyundai IONIQ 5. BYD says the pre-sale price of the Atto 3 starts at 38,000 euros.
With this price, Atto 3 already gets a 150 kW or 201 hp electric motor, a 60.48 kWh battery, and a claimed mileage of 420 km. Then for the flagship, BYD presents the Han EV and Tang EV, each of which has a pre-sale price of 72,000 euros.
The Han EV and Tang EV have two all-wheel-drive electric motors with a combined combined power of 380 kW or 509 hp.
BYD claims the Han EV is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while the Tang EV can be completed in 4.6 seconds.
In terms of mileage, the BYD Han EV is claimed to be able to travel as far as 521 kilometers while the Tang EV can cover 400 kilometers.
