BYD has introduced its Yuan Up compact electric SUV in Hong Kong, where it is marketed under the name Atto 2, the company said on Wednesday. The launch was carried out in partnership with local dealer Harmony Auto.
The Atto 2 starts at 155,000 Hong Kong dollars ($19,750), with a post-tax price of 169,800 Hong Kong dollars. It is equipped with a 51.13-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) range of 410 kilometers. BYD described the model as an affordable option for young buyers and small families, noting that it had received over 200 orders prior to the Hong Kong launch.
