BP Pulse and U.S. diner chain Waffle House have signed a strategic partnership to install fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at restaurant locations across the country, the companies announced on Tuesday.
Each site will feature six charging bays equipped with 400kW DC chargers and a combination of CCS and NACS connectors. The chargers will be installed in Waffle House parking lots, starting in Southern states such as Texas, Georgia, and Florida, with 24/7 access expected in line with the restaurantās round-the-clock service.
BP Pulse, the EV charging division of British oil major BP, said the partnership forms part of its strategy to build a robust nationwide network by pairing ultrafast charging infrastructure with convenient, high-traffic amenities.

The first installations are scheduled to go live in 2026. The companies did not disclose the number of total sites planned.

BP Pulse currently operates more than 8,000 charging locations in the U.S. and has previously partnered with companies such as Hertz and airport operators to expand its footprint. The company recently narrowed its international focus to four core markets: the U.S., UK, China, and Germany.
