BMW iX1 electric crossover teased, make debut at the end of this year

BMW has just revealed a leak of its new electric car, namely the iX1. Based on this teaser sketch, it looks like the iX1 electric crossover adopts the design of the BMW iX3.

The BMW iX1 is claimed to have battery performance that is further than the electric cars that BMW has produced at this time.

The range of the BMW iX1 is claimed to reach around 413 km to 438 km. Its development is also reported to have been adapted to the current development of electric vehicles.

The fascia of this electric car looks new thanks to the use of a grille with blue accents. Then, in the teaser image, it is clear that the BMW logo is installed at the top center of the grille.

BMW itself has not revealed when the iX1 electric crossover will be launched. However, it is rumored that this electric car will be released after the global launch of the BMW X1.

In addition to the iX1 electric crossover, BMW is also preparing to launch the i7 all-electric sedan next month. The plan is that this electric sedan will make its debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 20, 2022.

According to BMW AG Management Board member Frank Weber, the BMW i7 is a more powerful version of the BMW 7 Series.

“It combines the best driving experience with the best digital experience. This vehicle is the most ideal for decision makers who are forward-thinking, responsible and avant-garde pioneers,” said Weber.

The premium electric sedan is claimed to be able to offer a range of more than 600 km. The BMW i7 itself will be equipped with several excellent features, including the top lights made of crystal glass and the illumination contours of the grille.

Then on the interior there is a 31-inch infotainment screen with a 32:9 panoramic display format and streaming support with 8K resolution.
