The German manufacturer, BMW continues to innovate in presenting various products. One of them BMW has just launched the i7 Protection. This electric sedan is a sedan that has bulletproof technology with the most advanced safety devices. This car is said to be resistant to rifle attacks, grenades, and missile attacks.
BMW’s move to present the i7 Protection is because no other manufacturer has presented a bullet-proof car with the most advanced level of safety on the market. The car that targets the segment for high-ranking state officials such as heads of state or presidents will soon be introduced in 2023.
Oliver Zipse as BMW AG’s Management Board said that the presence of the i7 Protection will continue the company’s tradition by presenting a flagship car that combines a high level of security and dynamic excellence, driving comfort, and the best interior. “This is the highest variant of the 7 Series and i7 that provides integrated protection that is unique in this premium segment,” said Zipse.
Later the BMW i7 Protection is projected to be a very heavy car in BMW’s ranks. With bulletproof technology and a very large body, the weight of this car can reach 2.64 tons. The weight includes a bullet-proof protection system that is installed throughout the car body which reaches approximately 1 ton.
In addition, this car is also equipped with run flat tires which are more or less the same as other BMW cars. This run flat tire is claimed to be able to run at a certain speed and distance even if the tire is flat or lacks air. However, the materials used will also be slightly different from the special specifications to support the bulletproof car.
Many say this car will soon be launched in connection with the war between Russia and Ukraine that has occurred recently. With the presence of a bullet-proof car with electric technology, apart from providing the latest technology in terms of engineering, it is also related to the security and safety of people in the car, considering that it is projected that this car will be used by high-ranking state officials such as heads of state.
