Bentley claims to be the most environmentally friendly luxury car in the world beating Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The British car company said there were several indicators that made them very confident in claiming to be a luxury car company that cares about the environment.
The first indicator is the car production process. According to Bentley, throughout 2021 they made cars using less water. Currently the water used by Bentley to make cars at the Crewe factory, England comes from rainwater and recycled water.
They said last year the use of water normally needed to make cars fell by 26 percent compared to 2021 car production. Although using rainwater and recycled water, Bentley claims the quality of the production they produce has not decreased.
In addition to water use, another indicator is the emissions produced by the Bentley factory which are claimed to be very low. The Bentley plant has now succeeded in reducing carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 70 percent. This was realized because Bentley uses green gas and biofuel for logistics vehicles used in the factory.
In addition, the electricity needs at the factory are also imported through solar panels. No kidding Bentley has installed 31,500 solar panels at their factory. That number is claimed to continue to grow over time.
According to Carbuzz, the steps themselves are the realization of the Bentley 100 mission. The mission is known to be Bentley's efforts to create a more sustainable and sustainable environment. Of course, apart from doing green work methods, they will also make electric cars as a proof of commitment.
Currently, Bentley has not yet realized their electric car, which was actually only made in 2025. Currently, Bentley only makes hybrid cars such as the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid and Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid.
