B-ON, the Luxembourg-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is celebrating a successful first year in business, having produced and delivered 2,447 commercial electric vehicles and raised $150 million in capital. The companyās turnover for 2022 was $125 million, and it has signed contracts and letters of intent for the sale of a total of 11,000 vehicles, with negotiations for an additional 30,000 vehicles underway.

CEO Stefan Krause praised the companyās resilience in the face of a challenging market: āItās been an extremely tough year for financial markets, electric vehicle manufacturers, and global automotive supply chains as a whole. Despite this, BāON produced and delivered vehicles, and generated nine figures in revenue in our very first year of operations. B-ON acquired German electric vehicle manufacturer Streetscooter from Deutsche Post in January 2022, and has since rebranded to B-ON and expanded its range of electrification services. The companyās mission is to provide a hassle-free switch to EVs for fleet owners, offering EVs, charging and energy management, financing, service and maintenance, driver education, and advanced telematics through one point of contact for the customer.

B-ON has also expanded its operations beyond Luxembourg, with branches in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Japan and Latin America. The companyās success is a clear indication of the growing demand for electric vehicles and the increasing role they will play in the future of transportation.
