BorgWarner announced a partnership with South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Company on Wednesday, August 10. In a press release on the BorgWarner website, Hyundai will use the Integrated Drive Module (iDM) or the iDM146 integrated drive module made by BorgWarner to power its electric vehicles. In a Tweet, CEO RJ Scaringe said Rivian is currently putting dual-motor versions of the R1T pickup and R1S SUV for testing through the New Zealand winter.
