Genesis has announced specifications and pricing for the Electrified GV70 SUV, the South Korean manufacturer’s third electric vehicle after the GV60 and Electrified G80. Prices for the Genesis Electrified GV70 in the UK start at £64,405, with first deliveries scheduled for October this year. Alpay Uguz previously worked at BMW’s Spartanburg plant in South Carolina as general manager for the SUV brand. Chinese battery giant CATL is considering two locations in Mexico for electric vehicle battery production that have the potential to supply major US manufacturers such as Tesla and Ford, Bloomberg reported today.
