Zomato, the Indian food delivery giant, has announced plans to integrate 50,000 electric two-wheelers into its fleet over the next two years. The company, which currently has around 5,000 employees, is partnering with Sun Mobility to provide its battery swap solutions for this purpose. German company Technotrans has announced that it has secured a major order for more than 1,000 customised charging cable cooling systems, but the commissioning party remains anonymous. The deal is worth in the single-digit-million-euro range, according to the company. Technotrans will supply the cooling systems to an unnamed “leading German technology provider”. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into approximately 50,000 Tesla Model X SUVs from the 2022-2023 model years following two complaints about front seat belt failures. According to reports on the NHTSA’s official website, the seat belts detached from the seat belt anchor pretensioner while the vehicle was in motion.
