Rivian seems to be on the right track in the production and delivery of their electric vehicle after experiencing some difficulties a few months ago. In the third quarter of this year, the electric vehicle maker produced 7,363 R1T pickup trucks and R1S SUVs. In the same quarter, Rivian said it had delivered 6,584 vehicles of them. The State of Vermont is rolling out a new incentive to consumers to replace their Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles with new or used Plug-in Electric Vehicle (PEV) vehicles. The Replace Your Ride program is available to eligible Vermont residents based on who comes first, and depends on the availability of available funds. If these funds are exhausted, the State incentives under this program will not continue. Several states have announced their electrification measures by setting targets to ban the sale of new vehicles with internal combustion engines. This was reinforced by the steps of the federal government to provide incentives such as new tax credits. The Spanish bus manufacturer Irizar has received an order for 20 ‘Irizar ie’ trams from Transports Ciutat Comtal (TCC) to be used in the Pamplona area. This order continues several previous orders from other transport operators such as Autobuses Urbanos de Valladolid last July. Sales of electric cars in Thailand, which includes BEV, HEV, and PHEV technologies, reached 41,516 units. That number is dominated by the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) segment. The sales volume of the HEV segment in Thailand is much higher than the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) segments.
