Hyundai announced that its hydrogen-powered, heavy-duty XCIENT Fuel Cell Fuel Truck is entering the Israeli market. It becomes the first country in the Middle East to establish a hydrogen value chain in the region. Hyundai Motor is supplying three XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks to Israel as part of a partnership between Israeli agency Colmobil, hydrogen producer Bazan, and hydrogen fueling station operator Sonol to form a hydrogen value chain in Israel. Japanese auto giant Toyota is targeting carbon neutrality by 2040 in Europe. Toyota claims they are on track for a 100 per cent CO2 reduction in all new vehicles in Europe and the UK by 2035. Marks & Spencer (M&S) and bp pulse have signed an exclusive agreement to bring high-speed electric vehicle (EV) charge points to the M&S store estate across the UK.
