Audi A6 Avant e-Tron concept revealed on PPE platform

Audi has just launched its newest concept car, the A6 Avant E-tron, a luxury electric vehicle that appears to be production ready.

The A6 Avant E-tron is built on a new EV platform called the Premium Electric Platform or PPE. This platform is the result of the development of Audi with Porsche.

According to company representatives, the A6 Avant E-tron is the first “true look at future production models” to be built on a PPE platform.

The A6 Avant E-tron is said to be ready for mass production. Audi itself calls the A6 Avant E-tron as “production oriented”, meaning this car is likely to be mass-produced in the near future.

The A6 Avant E-tron has an estimated range of up to 700 kilometers (435 miles) using the European WLTP standard, depending on the drive system and model. variant. The A6 Avant E-tron can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than four seconds.

With an 800 volt system and a charging capacity of up to 270 kW, the A6 Avant E-tron can be charged in just 10 minutes at a fast charging station for a drive of 300 kilometers (186 miles).

The A6 Avant E-tron is the same size as the Audi A6 and A7, measuring just over 16 feet long, 6.4 feet wide and 4.7 feet high.

Its sleek design gives it extra reach from its aerodynamic design. The streamlined shape is useful for reducing aerodynamic drag.
