Last year, Apple announced that it had finalized a new “Core” processor that is reportedly going to be used in their autonomous vehicles.

Apple even had time to communicate with several automotive manufacturers to establish cooperation in presenting autonomous electric vehicles. But unfortunately, until now, Apple’s electric vehicle is hanging without certainty.

Recently, several high-ranking officials of the Apple car project have reportedly resigned and moved to other companies. One of the people who resigned was Christopher “CJ” Moore, who was one of the top executives of the Apple car project.

Christopher “CJ” Moore who is also a former Tesla employee is rumored to have left Apple to join Luminar, a company developing LIDAR sensors based in Orlando, Florida.

Moore is known to only last seven months at Apple, so making his departure from Apple is a sign that the Apple Car project is getting more and more unclear.

Before Moore, Doug Field, who is also one of the top executives of the Apple Car project, had already left Apple. He is known to have left Apple to join Ford, where Field was in charge of digital systems in Ford’s newly created Model E division for electric and autonomous vehicles.
