Alpine has realized the first electric vehicle. The Alpine A110 E-ternity opens the era of the French manufacturer’s brand entering the transition from conventional to electric engines.
In terms of appearance, there may not be significantly different, only the addition of aerokit on the bumper and rear has white accents. And there is no more exhaust hole because it is replaced by a third brake light on the rear bumper.
This Alpine EV car also weighs heavier than usual, adding about 258 kg compared to a regular combustion engine, with 1,378 kg, but Alpine plans to reduce the weight to 1,320 kg.
The driving motor comes from the Renault MĆ©gane E-Tech producing 238 and a peak torque of 300 Nm. Compared to the regular engine which is slightly more powerful, with 288 hp and 320 Nm. Acceleration from 0-100 kph is claimed to be around 4.5 seconds.
Another innovation added by Alpine is a distinctive infotainment screen that is mounted on the dashboard and can be the driver’s personal tablet. This car is also equipped with eight speakers with a subwoofer to pamper passengers in the cabin.
