Dutch electric vehicle charging operator Allego has launched its “Summer Pass 2025” programme, offering a 30% discount on ad-hoc prices at more than 5,000 of its own DC fast-charging stations and selected partner locations across Europe. The seasonal promotion is available until Sept. 30 and requires a paid subscription through a dedicated web portal.
The Summer Pass is open to EV users residing in 15 European countries, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and several Nordic and Baltic states. Customers must subscribe before Sept. 1 to benefit from the discount, which applies exclusively to Allego-operated direct current (DC) and high-power chargers, as well as selected charging stations operated under commercial agreements with partners such as Carrefour, EV Cars, and Faolan.
“The discount applies to Allego-owned DC and HPC chargers, as well as selected partner networks under commercial agreement,” the company said on its website, noting that the offer is not available through its mobile app, Smoov. Users relying on Plug & Charge technology will also forgo the discount, as it initiates sessions automatically without applying the reduced rate.
The monthly subscription fee varies by country, priced at 11.99 euros in the eurozone, 9.99 pounds in the UK, and corresponding amounts in local currencies elsewhere. The discount applies only to DC charging; regular rates remain in place for AC charging sessions.
Allego said it provides an interactive online map to help customers locate eligible charging sites. The company added that the promotion is intended to make fast-charging more accessible to EV drivers during the peak summer travel season.
