Within just six months, AGL deployed more than 150 curbside charging stations across inner Sydney, transforming the city’s public charging landscape. The initiative leverages AMPECO’s platform, which delivers 99% uptime and allows AGL to manage charging throughput in real time to balance grid demand.

AGL views the initiative not solely as a revenue stream but as a strategic step toward accelerating transport electrification and expanding its energy ecosystem. The company sees each new EV driver as a valuable customer contributing to its renewable energy targets, including the goal of adding 12 gigawatts of new renewable generation by 2035.

AMPECO CEO Orlin Radev praised AGL’s forward-thinking vision, saying, “AGL exemplifies the forward-thinking companies driving change in Australia’s EV charging landscape. Their innovative approach to curbside charging demonstrates the transformative potential of AMPECO’s platform.”
