BMW United States of America (USA) is giving consumers two years of free electric charging for new BMW electric cars, including the new BMW iX xDrive50, i4 eDrive40, and i4 M50.
The agreement is valid from the first day consumers buy a car and can charge electricity for 30 minutes for two years. Customers will have access to more than 3,000 Electrify America chargers across the country.
President and CEO, BMW North America, Sebastian Mackensen said that the collaboration with Electrify America is one step towards a sustainable future.

“Availability of charging is a key feature in electric vehicles. We are excited to offer our customers access to fast, affordable and convenient charging, as we launch the latest generation of all-electric from BMW,” said Sebastian Mackensen quoted from CarsCoops, Monday.
Electrify America operates the largest open network of ultra-fast chargers in America capable of producing 150 kW to 350 kW. With that, the iX can recover up to 90 miles (145 km) in 10 minutes, while the i4 can cover 108 miles (174 km) in the same amount of time.
