This adjustment could make things more difficult for users who rely on Tesla vehicles for camping trips, where these sockets are used to power devices like refrigerators.
The update disables the sockets when the vehicle is unoccupied, even if Sentry Mode is activated, a feature campers often rely on to protect their cars from animals. Previously, these sockets remained active under various conditions, providing continuous power for essential camping equipment. Now, without a person inside the vehicle or Camp Mode engaged, devices may lose power, raising concerns about potential food spoilage or disruption of other essential appliances.
