Li Auto has announced expanded car purchase benefits aimed at stimulating sales, the company revealed in a WeChat post today. Customers purchasing any Li Auto model between July 1-15 can benefit from a limited-time offer of up to approximately RMB 17,000 and have the option of a zero down payment.
The promotional offer, launched in celebration of the company’s ninth anniversary, includes a gift package valued at up to RMB 7,196, in addition to previously available benefits such as an RMB 5,000 option fund and a RMB 5,000 discount on a 7-kW charging post.
Li Auto currently offers the L-series of extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models, including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9, along with the all-electric Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
Despite strong sales growth last year, which saw a record 50,353 vehicle deliveries in December alone, Li Auto faced challenges after the launch of the Li Mega in March, with deliveries dropping below 30,000 units in both March and April.
In the second quarter of this year, Li Auto reported delivering 108,581 vehicles, marking a 25.48% increase year-on-year and a 35.05% rise from the first quarter. The company is actively expanding its charging infrastructure in preparation for the launch of more battery electric vehicles (BEVs) next year.
