ADS-TEC’s product line includes two battery-buffered charging systems, namely ChargeBox and ChargePost. The ChargeBox, capable of charging at up to 320 kilowatts, is particularly noteworthy for its ability to charge continuously from the available distribution grid while storing energy in the battery. This feature eliminates the need for a high-voltage connection and caught the attention of Caverion.
Ove Kjelby, Head of Sales E-Mobility at Caverion, highlighted the strategic fit of ADS-TEC’s products with their customer needs, stating, “ADS-TEC products are innovative and a good solution for our customers and partners who often have limited grid access.” He emphasized the value proposition of ADS-TEC’s solutions in enabling ultra-fast charging from limited networks, thereby leveraging existing infrastructure cost-effectively. Kjelby also noted the revenue potential for clients, highlighting the multi-stream revenues enabled by ChargeBox and ChargePost.
