Xiaomi has revealed its latest electric scooter, the Electric Scooter 4 Pro Max, on its global website. The new model, which is foldable for easy storage and transport, was previously teased alongside the launch of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter Fast Charger earlier this year. This fast charger is compatible with both the 4 Pro Max and the previously unveiled 4 Pro Plus model.
The Electric Scooter 4 Pro Max shares many similarities with its predecessor, the Pro Plus, which was introduced in January. Both models are equipped with a 960W peak power motor offering three speed settings and a maximum speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). However, the Pro Max boasts a more powerful 400W motor compared to the Pro Plus’s 350W.

Additionally, both scooters feature a built-in 10.2 Ah battery, providing a range of up to 60 km (~37 miles) on a single charge, with a recharge time of nine hours. Other shared features include direction indicators, E-ABS and drum brakes, and 10-inch tires on both the front and rear wheels.
One notable upgrade on the 4 Pro Max is the inclusion of dual-cylinder suspension at the front, enhancing comfort while riding on uneven terrain. This improvement, however, comes at a slight cost in terms of size and weight, with the Pro Max weighing in at 21.3 kg (~47.0 lbs), compared to the 19.5 kg (~43.0 lbs) of the Pro Plus.
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro Max has been spotted at MediaMarkt in Germany, priced at €599.99. However, it is currently out of stock with no indication of when it will be available for purchase. Whether the model will be launched in other countries and when that might happen remains uncertain.
