New details about the upcoming SU7 model have emerged. Recently leaked photos from the Xiaomi Car Beijing Factory have unveiled three new color options for the SU7, complementing the previously announced palette.
The new color options include a sophisticated blue-grey, a vibrant orange, and a sleek dark purple. These additions offer a wider range of styles compared to the previously showcased “Gulf Blue,” catering to different preferences, from classic to sporty looks.

Adding to the speculation, a leaked research document circulated online, suggesting a potential March launch for Xiaomi cars with deliveries starting in April. However, Xiaomi has promptly denied the accuracy of this information, including production volume estimations for the first quarter.
According to Xiaomi’s president, Lu Weibing, the SU7 is scheduled to begin deliveries in the second quarter of 2024. The SU7 made its international debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Xiaomi aims to leverage its base of 20 million premium smartphone users in China to drive initial sales.

Despite Xiaomi’s reputation for affordability, the SU7 targets the mid to high-end market segment. Pricing details are yet to be announced, but speculations suggest it could range between 250,000 Yuan and 370,000 Yuan ($35,176 – $52,061). Production is expected to ramp up to 2,000 units in March, with plans to exceed 10,000 units per month by July.
With the official release date still undisclosed, these leaks provide insights into potential color options for the upcoming Xiaomi SU7. While Xiaomi remains tight-lipped about the launch timeframe, anticipation surrounding Xiaomi’s entry into the electric vehicle market continues to grow.
