Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng is currently offering a time-limited promotion on its flagship sedan, the P7i, following the recent introduction of more affordable variants. The company has announced a reduction of up to RMB 26,000 ($3,630) on all versions of the P7i, effectively lowering the starting price of the Max version to RMB 224,900.
Customers opting for P7i versions with a range of 702 km and 610 km are eligible for various discounts, including a RMB 10,000 cash subsidy (or a 24-period 0 percent interest loan), a RMB 5,000 insurance subsidy, and a complimentary Dynaudio stereo valued at RMB 6,000. Additionally, customers can pay RMB 1 to receive a coupon worth RMB 5,000 on major e-commerce platforms in China.
The promotional offer, valid from December 8 to December 17, aims to enhance the appeal of the P7i model. While specific offers for other P7i variants were not detailed, interested customers are encouraged to consult Xpeng’s stores for further information.
Xpeng initially launched the P7i in China on March 10 as a revamped version of the P7, with deliveries commencing in the same month. The P7i was introduced in four variants—702 Pro, 702 Max, 610 Max Performance, and 610 Wing Performance—with initial prices ranging from RMB 249,900 to RMB 339,900.
On November 6, Xpeng expanded its P7i lineup by introducing two new versions equipped with lower-cost lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, resulting in a RMB 26,000 reduction in the starting price. The new variants, P7i 550 Pro and P7i 550 Max, are priced at RMB 223,900 and RMB 239,900, respectively.
