Apple’s ambitious venture into the electric vehicle market, codenamed Project Titan, has encountered another hurdle, according to reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a recent note, Kuo expressed concerns that the project has lost its direction and may require a substantial reorganization to regain momentum.
The prospect of Apple producing an electric car has generated significant buzz, but Kuo’s insights cast doubt on the timeline for this endeavor. He believes that it could be years before tangible results emerge. Kuo further recommends that Apple CEO Tim Cook consider a series of strategic acquisitions to address the project’s current challenges.
The development of the Apple Car seems to have lost all visibility at the moment. If Apple doesn't adopt an acquisition strategy to enter the automotive market, I doubt that the Apple Car can go into mass production within the next years.

While the concept of an autonomous, electric Apple Car with an augmented reality (AR) windshield has captured the imagination of tech enthusiasts, the project’s progress toward a road-ready vehicle has been marked by difficulties. While the dream of autonomous driving and innovative AR technology is enticing, the practical realization of an Apple-branded car appears to be facing delays, potentially extending beyond the previously rumored launch year of 2026.
The allure of Apple’s potential entry into the electric vehicle market is undeniable, but the industry is evolving rapidly, with competitors advancing swiftly. Apple’s ability to navigate these challenges and bring its vision to fruition remains a subject of keen interest and speculation in the tech and automotive sectors.
