Tesla is providing enticing discounts on its Powerwall energy storage units in the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia. For prospective buyers considering adopting this innovative home energy storage solution, the timing appears optimal.
Tesla UK has recently unveiled an attractive discount of £350 (equivalent to C$600) for Powerwall units, creating an appealing incentive for potential customers. The promotion, which commenced on August 11th, is set to extend until the conclusion of the year. To be eligible for the discount, interested individuals simply need to have their Powerwall unit installed and registered within this specified time frame.
Across the globe in Australia, a parallel opportunity presents itself to homeowners. Tesla Australia has introduced a rebate amounting to A$750 (approximately C$655) on the Powerwall, mirroring the promotion in the UK. As stated by @techAU on X, this reduction significantly impacts the pricing structure. The standard cost of the Powerwall without the rebate stands at A$12,990 (C$11,346). It is noteworthy that this revised pricing is considerably lower than figures reported in November of the previous year, when the device was quoted at A$20,000 (C$17,470) inclusive of installation costs.
To avail of these rebates, buyers are required to complete the installation, establish an internet connection, and duly register their Powerwall. Upon fulfilling these prerequisites, the rebate amount will be promptly credited to the buyer’s designated bank account.
The Powerwall, an integral part of Tesla’s energy ecosystem, is equipped to provide a continuous power supply of up to 5 kW. Its versatile design allows for both indoor and outdoor installation, and user control is facilitated through the Tesla mobile app.
