Tesla integrating Vehicle Sharing features in its app

Tesla, is reportedly working hard to integrate the vehicle sharing feature into its app. This is the beginning of the launch of ‘Tesla Network’.

Tesla has long talked about launching the Tesla Network, which will allow users to share their cars with friends and family much like the Uber app.

According to Elon Musk, one of the main goals of the Tesla Model 3 design (and later Tesla Model Y) was to build an electric car with self-driving capabilities and vehicle-sharing features.

This can be seen in the center design, camera facing the cabin, and the use of a smartphone as a key. These features are intended to facilitate the rollout of these capabilities in the future.

According to the report, the true value of the Tesla Network will come with Tesla releasing a promised version of the Full Self-Driving package, but there have been delays on that front.

The system has been in early beta for over a year now, and there’s no sign of Tesla trying to get it approved as a true commercial self-driving system any time soon.

But Musk said that Tesla could still release the “Tesla Network” without driving itself.

Last year, Tesla added a feature that would allow owners to “add drivers” via a new “car access” feature on its website.
