Chinese electric car manufacturer, Nio, has expanded its presence in Europe with the opening of its third Nio House in Rotterdam. The showroom, located in the heart of Rotterdam at De Meent 80-84, follows the opening of similar locations in Oslo and Berlin. Nio Houses are designed to serve as more than just a showroom, offering a range of additional amenities such as a cafĆ©, meeting room, and children’s area.
According to William Li, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Nio, the new Rotterdam location is an important step for the company in Europe. āNio is committed to delivering the best products and services to users in Europe. Rotterdam is the largest port city in Europe and an important hub for trade, making it the perfect location for Nioās newest Nio House.ā

Nio’s expansion in Europe is part of its global strategy to become a leading player in the electric vehicle market. The company has already launched three electric vehicle models in Europe, including the ET7 and ET5 electric sedans and the EL7 electric SUV. Last October, Nio began delivering its electric vehicles to European customers, starting with an event in Berlin.
Nio plans to continue its European expansion with five additional Nio Houses set to open later this year. While the exact locations of these stores have not been announced, Nio’s commitment to expanding in Europe is clear. “Our expansion into Europe is a significant milestone for Nio,” says Li. “We are excited to continue to provide innovative and high-quality electric vehicles to users across Europe.”
