General Motors (GM) is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the highly anticipated release of the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. First announced at the automaker’s CES presentation in January 2022, the mid-size electric crossover has been teased for months, leaving fans eager for a glimpse of the vehicle without its camouflage. Finally, in July 2022, the Blazer EV was officially unveiled in four trims (1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS), as well as a Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) edition.
Based on GM’s Ultium platform, the Blazer EV boasts estimated ranges between 247 miles for the 1LT trim to 320 miles for the RS trim. Although priced higher than the Chevy Equinox EV, starting around $30,000, the Blazer EV’s price ranges from $44,995 (1LT) to $65,995 (SS), making it a competitive mid-range electric SUV.

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will play a vital role in GM’s transformation to an all-electric future, as it provides an electric vehicle option for everyone. GM CEO Mary Barra confirmed in a tweet last June that the Blazer EV would be available for purchase in spring 2023, but sales were slightly delayed to this summer.
The first trims to be released will be the 2LT ($47,595) and RS ($51,995), followed by the SS ($65,995) later in 2023, and the 1LT ($44,995) and PPV in the first quarter of 2024. The Blazer EV will be offered in the summit white exterior color, as seen in the first images of the vehicle released by Reddit user Skidoor14.

One exciting feature of the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is its similarity to the concept model, with the production model looking almost identical. This is a rare occurrence in the automotive industry and shows GM’s commitment to delivering on its promises.
