FLEETCOR has taken over Mina, a cloud-based electric vehicle charging software platform, to provide the market-leading home-charging software solution for commercial fleets in the UK. The acquisition follows a successful collaboration between the two companies.
FLEETCOR now has access to the UK’s sole EV re-charging solution that calculates, captures and pays energy providers directly for at-home business charging. Mina’s platform makes the transition to electric vehicles effortless for commercial fleets by streamlining and automating the reimbursement process for at-home charging.
Mina is a prize-winning start-up in the electric vehicle (EV) charging payment sector, with the goal of revolutionizing the charging process. They offer the UK’s only charging solution for fleet vehicles, where payments for energy used are credited directly to the driver’s energy supplier, enabling convenient and accurate payment for EV charging for both employers and employees.

“It’s a fascinating company that’s built software integrations into virtually all the UK EV charging hardware suppliers and electric utility providers. That makes at-home EV charging and reimbursement incredibly simple for employees and employers,” said Ron Clarke, chairman and chief executive officer, FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc.
“We now have a market-leading 3-in-1 EV charging solution for commercial fleets that combines at-home, on-the-road, along with internal combustion engine refueling into one integrated client offering,” said Tom Rowlands, global managing director of EV solutions for FLEETCOR.
