ID.4 sales in the US, partly from imports from Europe. Pda last August, the manufacturer has carried out production locally in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Volkswagen aims to produce 7,000 units of ID.4 per month at the Chattanooga plant, before the end of this year. If production targets are met, the US-made ID.4 will most likely account for 100% of sales in the US.

The company has over 40,000 bookings by the end of 2021, which should be no problem with the lack of demand. The only thing to do is to increase the production capacity of ID.4 as much as possible.

From January to September, 11,072 Volkswagen ID.4s were sold in the US, 10% less than in the same period last year. Cumulatively, more than 27,000 ID.4s were sent to customers.
