Chery Automobile has just introduced a very interesting concept car dubbed Gene, which is designed to explore the company’s future designs.
Unlike other four-wheeled vehicles, Gene takes the form of a large SUV with a futuristic exterior that combines some classic and retro touches. The front of this concept might be the element that catches your eye the most thanks to the prominent LED light bar and the illuminated Chery logo.
Chery’s designers also made some bold decisions by installing three panels on the back of the SUV, especially with the thick C-pillar. In addition, the large LED taillight design also makes this car look more futuristic.
The company also said that the Gene Concept will also be equipped with one electric skateboard as well as two vehicle-synchronized drones. Both gadgets will later offer passengers an immersive VR experience.
The interior concept also deserves appreciation. In standard Real mode, the driver can use the futuristic steering wheel to drive the SUV. However, when Gene is switched to Meta mode, the steering wheel folds up, the seats recline, and autonomous driving technology takes over.
There is no news whether this car will be produced or not, Chery only said that the Gene Concept will be the company’s foundation in creating smart cars in the future.
