Genesis has announced specifications and pricing for the Electrified GV70 SUV, the South Korean manufacturer’s third electric vehicle after the GV60 and Electrified G80.
Prices for the Genesis Electrified GV70 in the UK start at £64,405, with first deliveries scheduled for October this year.
The Genesis Electrified GV70 comes with two electric drives, each with 160 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque at the front and rear axles. The resulting system power is 360 kW in boost mode, and a combined torque of 700 Nm.
The Electrified GV70 uses a battery equipped with an energy capacity of 77.4 kWh, and using an 800 vol system voltage it can be charged from ten to 80 percent in 18 minutes with up to 240 kW at peak. With a fully charged battery, the Genesis Electrified GV70 has a WLTP range of up to 455 kilometers.
Genesis provides several important features for the Electrified GV70, including a technology package and a convenience package. The Electrified GV70 has safety and assistance systems such as a 360-degree camera, Highway Assist II (HDA II) and Automatic Parking Assist.
Meanwhile, comfort features include a heated steering wheel and three-zone automatic climate control. The audio system, seat comfort package or Nappa leather seat package can be ordered separately. Pricing for each of the plans and options has not yet been revealed.

Genesis itself targets to be carbon neutral by 2035. Together with Hyundai and Kia have made electric vehicles using the same platform.
