AITO M7 is the company’s second brand after AITO M5. It is another competitive Product launched in China’s new energy SUV market.
The AITO M7 is a large new energy SUV that uses the same long-range technology as that used by Li Auto in its models.
The AITO M7 is battery-powered, although it has a smaller capacity than most electric models. The AITO M7 is equipped with a low displacement engine to provide longer range when the battery is depleted.
Although the AITO brand was created by Huawei and Seres, the tech giant took the lead in design and marketing, with Seres acting more like a factory.
AITO offers three versions of the M7 to choose from, starting at RMB 319,800 ($478,100), 339,800 and 379,800 respectively.
Dimensionally, the AITO M7 has a length, width and height of 5,020 mm, 1,945 mm and 1,775 mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.
The rear-wheel drive AITO M7 is equipped with a 1.5T range extender with a maximum power of 90 kW and an electric motor with a maximum power of 200 kW.
The four-wheel drive version adds a front electric motor with a peak power of 130 kW, bringing the combined power to 330 kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The AITO M7 uses a CATL ternary lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 40.06 kWh and has a WLTC range of 195 km on battery power for the rear-wheel drive version and 165 km for the four-wheel drive.
In CLTC conditions, the rear-wheel drive AITO M7 has a range of 1,220 km on full fuel and fully charged, and the four-drive version has a range of 1,100 km.
The AITO M7 uses Huawei’s HarmonyOS for its smart cockpit feature. AITO claims that users can use the mobile app directly from the center screen of the vehicle.
AITO offers six exterior colors for the M7 as well as four interior color options.
AITO is a premium smart car brand that Seres collaborated with Huawei on December 2 last year. The first model, the AITO M5, was launched on December 23 last year.
