The 2027 Mazda EZ-60 is a mid-size new energy SUV developed by Changan Mazda for the Chinese market and global markets. The latest model expands the lineup to nine variants, including four new versions equipped with LiDAR-based advanced driver assistance technology.

The 2027 Mazda EZ-60 measures 4,850 mm long, 1,935 mm wide and 1,620 mm high. Its wheelbase measures 2,902 mm.
These dimensions are unchanged from the first-generation EZ-60 launched in September 2025, indicating that the latest update focuses primarily on technology, equipment and variant expansion rather than a major change to the SUV’s physical proportions.
EREV Powertrain
The EREV versions of the 2027 Mazda EZ-60 use a 1.5-liter range extender with a maximum output of 70 kW.
The range extender works with an electric drive motor producing 190 kW of peak power and 290 Nm of peak torque. The system is supported by a 31.73-kWh battery.
The EREV configuration provides a CLTC pure-electric range of 200 km. The gasoline-powered range extender can provide additional energy once the battery’s available electric driving range is depleted.
BEV Powertrain
The battery-electric EZ-60 uses a 77.94-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.
The BEV models retain a single-motor rear-wheel-drive configuration. The electric motor produces a maximum output of 190 kW.
The BEV version has a claimed CLTC driving range of up to 600 km, providing the longest electric-only range in the EZ-60 lineup.
LiDAR and Driver Assistance Specifications
Four new variants of the 2027 EZ-60 are equipped with LiDAR.
The system uses a roof-mounted Hesai ATX LiDAR sensor with a maximum detection range of 200 meters. It operates alongside three millimeter-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars.
Changan Mazda says the combined sensor configuration provides a forward detection range of more than 250 meters.
The driver assistance system uses an end-to-end architecture. Highway navigation assist operates between 0 and 130 km/h, while urban navigation assist supports speeds from 0 to 80 km/h.
The parking system can identify more than 300 types of parking spaces. Memory parking and other functions are planned to be introduced through subsequent OTA software updates.
The vehicle also includes 25 active safety functions.
Pricing
The official guide prices for the 2027 Mazda EZ-60 range from 119,900 yuan to 172,900 yuan. Limited-time prices range from 113,900 yuan to 166,900 yuan, representing a 6,000-yuan discount across the lineup.
The entry-level official price remains unchanged from the first-generation model at 119,900 yuan.
However, the addition of the LiDAR-equipped variants increases the top-end price from 160,900 yuan to 172,900 yuan.
The EREV Pro LiDAR is priced at 151,900 yuan, while the BEV Max LiDAR is the most expensive variant at 172,900 yuan. The LiDAR versions carry a 12,000-yuan premium over their corresponding standard configurations.

Global Positioning
The EZ-60 is Changan Mazda’s first new energy SUV and was developed as a strategic model for international markets.
