Hyundai Motor Group has introduced AllDayEnergy, a new global brand that brings together its vehicle-to-everything (V2X) energy services under a single identity as the company expands its electric vehicle energy ecosystem.
Unified Brand for Energy Services
The AllDayEnergy brand will begin rolling out in the United Kingdom through the Kia App during the second half of 2026 before expanding to other European markets, the United States and South Korea.

The platform combines three V2X services under one brand:
- V1G smart charging, which schedules vehicle charging based on real-time electricity prices and grid conditions.
- Vehicle-to-grid (V2G), allowing electric vehicles to supply stored electricity back to the power grid.
- Vehicle-to-home (V2H), enabling vehicle batteries to power homes or provide backup electricity during outages.
Existing V2X Deployments
Ahead of the global launch, Hyundai Motor Group has already introduced V2X services in several markets.
In South Korea, the company is piloting V2G technology in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

In the Netherlands, V2G and smart charging services have been deployed to respond to dynamic electricity pricing.
Meanwhile, in the United States, V2H technology has been used to provide emergency household backup power during wildfire-related outages.
Supporting Long-Term Energy Strategy
Woong Tae Hwang, Vice President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group’s EV Energy Strategy Group, said the launch represents another step in the company’s broader strategy to expand beyond vehicle manufacturing.
“The launch marks a step towards establishing Hyundai Motor Group as an energy services provider.”
He added that deploying AllDayEnergy across both the Hyundai Motor and Kia mobile applications is intended to provide customers with a consistent V2X experience as the services expand internationally.

Expanding Beyond Vehicle Sales
The launch reflects Hyundai Motor Group’s broader effort to integrate electric vehicles with energy management services, allowing customers to use their vehicles not only for transportation but also as part of home and grid energy systems.
Beginning the rollout in the United Kingdom leverages one of Europe’s more established regulatory frameworks for vehicle-to-grid services and dynamic electricity tariffs, while integrating the platform into the Kia App enables the company to build energy services directly into its existing customer ecosystem.
