LiveWire S2 Del Mar Launch Edition Sold Out In Just 18 Minutes

LiveWire launched its second electric model, the S2 Del Mar for around US$15,000. More specifically, the LiveWire S2 Del Mar Launch Edition was initially limited to only 100 units. Each Launch Edition model has an identity edition number affixed to the motorcycle body. All of his units were sold out just 18 minutes after the reveal.

“S2 Del Mar represents the next step in the evolution of LiveWire. The Arrow architecture that underlies Del Mar, developed internally at LiveWire Labs, demonstrates our ambition to lead the EV space and make LiveWire the most desirable electric motorcycle brand in the world,” said Jochen Zeitz, CEO of Harley-Davidson.

The S2 Del Mar has an Urban Steer Tracker style, built on the S2 ARROW platform, featuring LED lights and bar end mirrors. Then the body graphics, there is a choice of Jasper Gray or Comet Indigo, which is applied manually and takes up to 5 days to process.

The battery claims this bike can produce more than 80 hp, with an estimated range of 160 km with batteries using Level 1 and 2 charging, although charging times are not stated.

Having a body that doesn’t look too big, its targeted weight is around 197 kg, with an acceleration time from rest to 100 kph only takes about 3.5 seconds.

Then the braking system is also capable of being supported by Brembo calipers front and rear. Using 19-inch rims, wrapped in Dunlop DT1 tires and front suspension upside down fork and monoshock at the rear.
