Flipturn has launched an artificial intelligence-powered charging operations agent designed to help fleet operators and site hosts move from reactive troubleshooting to proactive maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The new tool, called Flip, continuously analyses charger logs, error reports and maintenance records to identify emerging performance issues before they affect uptime or driver experience. It then delivers daily email summaries highlighting priority problems and recommended next steps, reducing the need for manual dashboard monitoring, the company said.

Flipturn said the system processes millions of charger data points each day and adapts to individual site configurations, integrating with existing operational runbooks and vendor-specific documentation. The AI agent tracks issues through resolution and communicates directly with operators via email, rather than requiring them to navigate multiple software interfaces.
Early users reported operational benefits during pilot deployments. “The AI report has become my morning starting point for assessing operational status,” said Roger Alvarez, director of depot operations at Zeem Solutions, adding that the tool helped identify power module issues that were reducing charger availability.

Christian Bigger, zero-emission fleet and facilities manager at Spokane Transit Authority, said the daily summaries had streamlined oversight. “Flip consolidates charger messages into a five-minute daily review,” he said, noting that the insights prompted dedicated staffing to address vehicle–charger interoperability problems.
Ajay Saini, supervisor of transport maintenance at Loblaw Companies, said the daily emails were useful for monitoring charger health and ensuring fleets remain operationally ready.

Flipturn said Flip is available immediately to all existing customers at no additional cost and can be activated through the AI navigation option in current accounts. The company added that data privacy safeguards are built into the system, with customers retaining ownership of their data and AI functionality remaining optional.
The launch comes as fleet operators and charging providers face growing pressure to maintain high charger uptime as electric vehicle adoption accelerates across North America, increasing the operational complexity of large charging networks.
