Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng has set a full-year delivery target of 550,000 to 600,000 vehicles for 2026, signalling a sharp acceleration in growth as the company prepares to broaden its product lineup and expand overseas, according to a report by local media outlet 36Kr.
The target, discussed at an internal strategy meeting, would represent an increase of about 28% to nearly 40% from Xpeng’s 2025 deliveries of 429,400 vehicles, the report said. Hitting the goal would require average monthly deliveries of roughly 45,800 to 50,000 units, up from last year’s pace.

Xpeng’s management has previously described 2026 as a pivotal year for new launches. During an earnings call on Nov. 17, executives said “2026 will mark another super product cycle”, outlining plans to introduce seven models during the year, with at least three aimed at overseas markets.
According to 36Kr, Xpeng plans to roll out four new sport utility vehicles in 2026, including two larger models known internally as G01 and G02, alongside two SUVs from its Mona series, codenamed D02 and D03. The G01 is described as a luxury six-seat SUV with a length of about 5.1 metres and a 3-metre wheelbase, while the G02 is positioned as a full-size flagship model expected to compete with vehicles such as Li Auto’s L9 and Aito’s M9.

The Mona D02 and D03 are expected to target the mid-size and compact SUV segments, respectively, though the report noted that the model names may be project codes rather than final production names.
As part of its broader strategy, Xpeng has begun updating its existing lineup. At the start of 2026, the company refreshed four models, introducing extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants for two of them and adding tiered paid upgrades for its smart driving features across all four.
The move into EREV models is intended to support sales in China’s highly competitive market while also improving the brand’s appeal abroad. Overseas expansion is becoming a growing focus for Xpeng, with the P7+ sedan and Mona SUVs identified as key export models, according to 36Kr.

Overseas deliveries accounted for about 10% of Xpeng’s total sales in 2025, the report said, and the company aims to double that contribution in 2026. Xpeng delivered 45,008 vehicles overseas in 2025, up 96% year on year, the company announced on Jan. 1.
Beyond vehicles, Xpeng is also increasing investment in technology. The company plans to accelerate deployment of its in-house Turing AI chip and VLA (Vision-Language-Action) 2.0 smart driving software, and has secured production capacity for more than one million units of its self-developed chips, according to 36Kr.
