“The completion of 200,000 vehicles is an important milestone in NIO’s full-speed development in 2022. This year, NIO plans to deliver the ET7, ET5 and ES7, three new models from NT2.0, its second-generation technology platform,” it said.
In the cumulative delivery report as of the end of March, overall NIO has produced 192,838 electric vehicles.
The production of NIO’s own vehicles is on an order basis, meaning that under normal circumstances the production volume each month is basically the same as the delivery volume.

This achievement could actually be faster, because the policy of restrictions due to Covid made NIO have time to stop the production of their electric vehicles. This is because spare parts supplier partners have stopped production due to Covid restrictions.
NIO is expected to launch 2022 models of the NIO ES8, ES6 and EC6 which are said to come with the latest digital cockpit hardware.
