Toyota Motor announced the 2026 model year of its Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell sedan, adding updated standard equipment and design enhancements as the automaker continues to position hydrogen as part of its multi-pathway electrification strategy.
The 2026 Mirai is scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships this winter with a starting price of $51,795, excluding dealer charges. Toyota said the fuel-cell powertrain maintains an EPA-estimated driving range of 402 miles on a full hydrogen fill.

To support ownership and alleviate fuel availability concerns, Toyota said buyers or lessees will receive up to $15,000 in complimentary hydrogen fuel, valid for six years for retail purchases or three years for lease customers.
The updated model now ships as standard with 19-inch black machine-finished alloy wheels, alongside a redesigned cabin centered around dual 12.3-inch displays for both the digital gauge cluster and infotainment. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual Bluetooth connectivity and over-the-air software updates.

Interior equipment includes heated front seats trimmed in SofTex with eight-way power adjustment for the driver, a JBL premium audio system, Qi wireless smartphone charging and multiple USB Type-C ports. A dual-zone automatic climate control system is also standard.
The 2026 Mirai comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 as standard, which includes advanced driver assistance features such as pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, proactive driving assist and traffic jam assist.

Toyota is also offering extended warranty and ownership benefits for the Mirai, including an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty on fuel-cell components, a ten-year or 150,000-mile hybrid battery warranty, three years or 35,000 miles of ToyotaCare maintenance, and up to 21 days of complimentary rental support during the first three years of ownership.
