Autel has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV), the national charge point operator responsible for developing and operating the United Arab Emirates’ electric vehicle charging network, as both sides seek to advance smart charging and energy management technologies.
The agreement was formalised during a UAEV delegation visit to Autel’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, where the companies discussed next-generation charging solutions tailored to the UAE’s mobility requirements and high-temperature operating conditions. The partnership covers collaboration in areas including vehicle-to-grid (V2G) interaction, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and intelligent charging platforms for the national network.

Under the MoU, Autel and UAEV will pursue joint research, pilot programmes and locally optimised solutions aimed at improving network reliability, operational efficiency and long-term scalability. Autel will contribute ultra-fast DC charging systems designed to operate in temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius, alongside remote maintenance systems and ongoing research and development in power modules, AI-enabled diagnostics and cloud-based optimisation.
“This collaboration represents an important step in advancing the UAE’s next generation of smart-charging and energy-management solutions,” said Ali Al Darwish, chief executive of UAEV. “By pairing Autel’s technical strengths with our expanding national infrastructure, we are building an ecosystem that is more resilient, more intelligent, and aligned with the UAE’s clean-mobility ambitions.”
