Lucid Motors on Thursday introduced the Gravity Touring, the latest variant of its flagship electric SUV, ahead of its public appearance at the 2025 Los Angeles International Auto Show. The model is now available to order in the United States, with deliveries beginning immediately for select configurations.
The Gravity lineup remains central to the company’s long-term strategy as it works toward launching a future mid-size EV. Production of the Grand Touring and Touring trims is ramping up at Lucid’s plant in Casa Grande, Arizona, following earlier delays and a slower-than-expected sales rollout in 2024 and early 2025. The Touring variant now follows the higher-priced Grand Touring model, which temporarily paused deliveries before resuming in March.

Lucid has broadened Gravity’s footprint this year, shipping units to Saudi Arabia while also securing a robotaxi partnership with Uber and Nuro. The project is expected to deploy at least 20,000 Gravity vehicles starting next year. The company also extended the expired federal EV tax credit on its own in response to a large order backlog.
The Touring trim enters the market with a starting MSRP of $79,900, positioning it below the $94,900 Grand Touring model. Lucid describes the variant as a more accessible option in the premium SUV segment. “The Lucid Gravity Touring unlocks a new audience for the Lucid brand in the broad and critical SUV segment,” interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said in a statement. “There’s not another SUV in its segment that can deliver the combination of range, interior space, and driving performance found in the Lucid Gravity Touring.”

The all-wheel-drive Gravity Touring uses dual permanent-magnet motors producing 560 bhp and 811 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 89 kWh battery pack and a 700-volt-plus electrical architecture. Lucid estimates an EPA range of 337 miles and 0–60 mph acceleration of 4 seconds. The SUV supports DC fast charging up to 300 kW on 1,000-volt chargers or up to 225 kW on 500-volt hardware. Lucid says it can recover 200 miles of range in around 15 minutes.
The model includes a native NACS charging port, allowing access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. According to Lucid, the Touring can charge at up to 220 kW on Supercharger stations through its rear-motor boost system, which increases station voltage to match the vehicle’s pack.

Inside, the Touring is equipped with the Clearview Cockpit, the Lucid UX 3.0 interface, and optional DreamDrive 2 Pro advanced driver-assistance features supported by 32 sensors. Seating configurations include either two rows for five passengers or three rows for seven.
