Xpeng said it will hold its 2025 AI Day on November 5 in Guangzhou, marking the latest edition of its annual technology showcase as the Chinese electric vehicle maker deepens its push into artificial intelligence.
The event, themed “Emergence,” will highlight advances in physical AI, according to an announcement shared by the company on X. Xpeng Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said the company has made notable progress in this field, emphasizing AI’s potential to reshape human interaction with intelligent machines.

“Physical AI defines the next decade — how people travel, live, and coexist with super-intelligent agents,” He said in the post. “Machines will evolve beyond mere command-executing tools into partners capable of proactively navigating complex environments and co-creating with humans,” he added.
Xpeng’s previous AI Day took place on November 6, 2024, where the company introduced the Kunpeng Super Electric System, its Turing AI chip, and a humanoid robot called Iron. The company’s first technology event, named the 1024 Tech Day, was held in 2019 and traditionally took place on October 24 — a date symbolizing 2 to the 10th power and recognized in China as Programmer’s Day.

Last year, Xpeng moved away from the October 24 schedule, rebranding the event as AI Day to reflect its growing emphasis on artificial intelligence. The company is among China’s leading players in intelligent driving systems and is expanding its AI initiatives to include humanoid robots and robotaxi technologies.
