Alpine has announced pricing for its new electric flagship, the A390, ahead of official orders opening on November 21. The mid-size crossover represents the French performance brand’s entry into a new segment, marking a major step in Alpine’s transition toward electric mobility.
The A390 GT, the base variant, starts at €67,500, while the top-spec GTS version, due in early 2026, will retail from €78,000. Pre-orders begin on November 7 for customers holding the Alpine A390 Première Pass, which includes exclusive perks such as Devialet audio headphones. Broader sales will open later in the month, with first showroom appearances in Germany expected before the end of 2025 and customer deliveries slated for the first quarter of 2026.

“The A390 continues Alpine’s evolution, blending high performance with everyday usability in a fully electric form,” the company stated. The model joins the A290 hot hatch in Alpine’s growing “Dream Garage” of electric vehicles and signals the brand’s expansion beyond traditional sports cars.
Built on the AmpR Medium platform—shared with the Renault Scénic E-Tech Electric and the upcoming Nissan Leaf—the A390 GT is powered by three electric motors producing a combined 295 kW and 661 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h. The more powerful GTS variant delivers 345 kW and 824 Nm, cutting acceleration to 3.9 seconds with a 220 km/h limit.

Both versions use an 89 kWh NMC battery offering up to 555 km of WLTP range for the GT and 515 km for the GTS. Charging capabilities include 150 kW DC fast charging on the GT and 190 kW on the GTS, allowing a 15–80% charge in under 30 minutes. A heat pump is fitted as standard, while 22 kW AC charging and a Vehicle-to-Load adapter are available as options.
Stylistically, the A390 retains Alpine’s signature cues with a low, aerodynamic stance, sculpted fastback silhouette, and rear design inspired by the classic A110. Measuring 4.62 meters in length, it targets rivals such as the Porsche Macan Electric, Cupra Tavascan, and BMW i4, combining the dynamics of a sports coupe with crossover practicality.
