Geely Auto’s sub-brand Geely Galaxy will launch the Starshine 6 hybrid sedan on October 30, positioning the vehicle in China’s affordable family sedan segment.
The company announced the launch date on Weibo, highlighting the Starshine 6 as a new entrant in the electric hybrid family car market.

Pre-sales for the Starshine 6 began on September 26, with five variants priced from RMB 85,800 ($12,040) to RMB 118,800. A limited-time discount reduces the starting price range to RMB 79,800 ($11,200) to RMB 112,800. The mid-size sedan measures 4,806 mm in length, 1,886 mm in width, 1,490 mm in height, and has a 2,756 mm wheelbase.
The Starshine 6 is equipped with Geely’s Leishen AI Hybrid 2.0 system, which pairs a 1.5-liter engine with an electric motor.

Geely previously reported that the model achieves fuel consumption of 2.8 liters per 100 kilometers under low-battery conditions and offers a combined CLTC range of up to 1,700 kilometers. The vehicle will compete with models such as BYD’s Qin Plus and Changan Automobile’s Deepal L07.
Geely Galaxy has seen significant growth over the past year, supported by competitively priced model launches. The brand sold 120,868 vehicles in September, a 131.06% increase year-on-year and a 9.22% rise from August.
