Vietnamese automaker VinFast has sold more than 100,000 vehicles in the first nine months of 2025, becoming the first brand in the country’s history to reach that milestone within such a period. The achievement comes as the company continues its streak as Vietnam’s best-selling carmaker for 11 consecutive months, supported by consistent demand across its electric vehicle lineup.
VinFast delivered 13,914 vehicles in September, bringing total sales for the first three quarters of 2025 to 103,884 units, according to company figures. The compact VF 3 led sales with 31,386 units so far this year, followed by the VF 5 with 30,956 units, including 8,604 fleet-oriented Herio Green variants. The VF 6 and VF 7 recorded 14,425 and 5,877 units respectively, while the Limo Green seven-seater MPV saw 2,120 deliveries in September.

“Behind the figure of more than 100,000 vehicles are millions of acts of trust and support from our customers,” said Duong Thi Thu Trang, Global Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at VinFast. “We are deeply grateful for their confidence and remain committed to delivering ever greater value, thereby accelerating Vietnam’s green transition.”
The company said production capacity at its Hai Phong and Ha Tinh manufacturing sites has been expanded to meet growing demand. It expects additional output in the final quarter of 2025 as it seeks to strengthen its domestic leadership.

VinFast’s sales growth highlights the increasing adoption of electric vehicles in Vietnam, where the company’s locally produced models have outperformed both domestic and international competitors. The milestone also reflects broader momentum in the country’s automotive industry as it moves toward electrification and sustainable mobility.
