Curo and Monta have formed a new partnership to address the growing challenge of underutilized electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The agreement integrates Curo’s Virtual Depot platform with Monta’s EV charging network, giving commercial fleets greater access to charging stations while providing operators with increased usage and revenue potential.
The partnership enables fleets using Curo’s system to locate and charge vehicles at Monta-powered sites throughout the United States. In turn, operators on Monta’s platform gain access to fleet customers with high energy demand, helping to reduce idle time for chargers and improve overall network efficiency.

“The Virtual Depot model relies on strong partnerships that can deliver both scale and reliability,” said Kieran White, CEO and co-founder of Curo. “Our collaboration with Monta allows fleets to expand and distribute faster while giving operators a faster route to profitability.”
Casper Rasmussen, CEO of Monta, said the collaboration would help make better use of existing charging assets. “This partnership enables operators to monetize idle chargers and helps fleets electrify without the heavy costs of building new infrastructure,” he said. “It’s a strong example of how smart integration can accelerate both sustainability and business growth.”

The companies said the integration is intended to streamline fleet charging operations and reduce the need for additional physical infrastructure. By connecting available chargers directly with fleet demand, the partnership aims to increase charger utilization rates and support the broader transition to electric mobility.
