General Motors has raised the starting price of its 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV to $36,495, including destination fees, while introducing new style packages for its popular electric SUV. The model continues to hold the title as the best-selling electric vehicle in the United States outside of Tesla.
The 2026 Equinox EV, which carries over most of its features from the 2025 model, adds new personalization options aimed at expanding its appeal. The Midnight Package, priced at $595, features black emblems, bowties, badging, wheel caps, and 19-inch black-painted aluminum wheels. Meanwhile, the Tech Bronze Package, available for both LT and RS trims, includes Tech Bronze decals, black nameplates, a black bowtie emblem, and 21-inch Tech Bronze wheels for $3,595.

Starting at $36,495 for the LT front-wheel-drive (FWD) version, the Equinox EV offers an estimated 319 miles of range, while the all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant costs an additional $5,300 and provides a range of 307 miles, according to GM’s website. Trim options include LT1, LT2, and RS, available in both FWD and AWD configurations.
Following another strong quarter of EV sales, GM said the Chevy Equinox EV remains the top-selling electric vehicle in the U.S. outside of Tesla. The automaker’s push to maintain this position comes as competitors, including Nissan’s upcoming LEAF B5 and Hyundai’s expanded Ioniq lineup, target the same affordable EV segment.
